Subconscious Mind: How to activate subconscious mind

Subconscious Mind

Everything we experience, hear, learn during life, is recorded in our subconscious mind, the seat of our emotions. Even when we erase certain painful and unpleasant events from memory, even if over time and years I forget names, faces, our subconscious never forgets them.

Yes, subconscious never forgets anything! It is an archive of our memories, it can supply us with the information we need at any time. Our subconscious mind is like a computer: every time we ask a question clearly and precisely, our subconscious “throws out” the right answer.

Subconscious Mind Definition

In traditional psychology, the subconscious mind is portrayed as the saboteur within – something dangerous, something manipulating you, something you shouldn’t examine too closely or you might go mad. This causes people to fear their own inner selves and gives rise to the analyst’s couch, a safe environment where the subconscious mind can be peeled back layer by layer, like an onion.

Traditional views of the subconscious die hard. Psychiatry and psychology still demonize the subconscious or marginalize it as an inferior part of mind. Meanwhile the conscious mind is touted as the be all and end all; higher consciousness is denied altogether. But a deeper understanding of reality reveals that mind is no thing and there are no divisions. Conscious, subconscious, superconscious are merely descriptive terms applied to the invisible — yet they are terms that have been repeated so often, for so long, in so many ways and places, they are taken as fact.

Subconscious Mind vs Conscious Mind

In order to understand all this well, we need to know that in our spirit there are two systems of activities at the same time, placed one on top of the other:

  • First there is conscious activity – it governs the conscious layer of our spirit. Our conscious basic task is to judge. Since conscious governs the world and external things, the conscious part of our spirit is also called the “objective spirit.” The means used are our senses. But it is well known, the most important functions of our organism (respiration, digestion, blood circulation, work of the lungs and heart, etc.) are not under its control.
  • Much more important and often hidden, there is an unconscious activity – it is controlled by our subconscious. Our unconscious, with the help of the autonomic nervous systems, manages all important organic functions. In our lives, therefore, this unconscious activity very often decides the course of things.

The human spirit can be compared to an iceberg: the part of the iceberg that emerges from the water is only one tenth of its total volume, just as the conscious part of our spirit represents only one tenth of all our potential – everything else belongs to the subconscious.

Our education and the constraints of modern life force us to use only that part which belongs to the zone of the conscious, to know nothing about the subconscious, with the explanation that it is in fact irrational. We are thus cut off from the richest part of our being from the only source of information that can mark the right path to health, success and happiness.

This reminds me of the Bedouins of the Middle East desert. Until some time ago, their daily meal consisted of sake dates and a few sips of water. They were considered the poorest people in the world. They themselves, on the other hand, did not even dream that under the hot sand that has been trampled for centuries, there is a huge treasure: black gold, oil. One day, however, they became aware of it. Then they learned to use that wealth and became the richest people on this planet.

What the Bedouins did with their land, do with your subconscious – there is a huge wealth hidden in it.

Feeling guilty for our own helplessness and constant failures, for everything we don’t do and would like to do, we say to ourselves, sighing, “It’s so hard … and I don’t have the will.” We accuse ourselves of weakness, our favorite proverb is “Happiness smiles only on those who have a strong will”.

Nothing is less true than this proverb! And nothing is less human. And nothing is so contrary to the laws of success.

Man can not live his whole life in opposition to his own nature. Learn, therefore, to succeed in life independently of your will.

But how? Should we cross our arms? Rotate your thumbs? Should we be lazy? Of course – no!

Quite the opposite: we suggest you set your true abilities in motion. Most of us sin and prefer the will of the rational, logical brain, guarded against desires that are born in the intuitive brain, the seat of the subconscious. However, it is the subconscious that enables the appearance of motivation, desire.

So to all those who poison life with claims like: only the will allows us to progress, I ask these questions:

  • Is it really possible to realize all your dreams using only 10% of your own strengths and abilities?
  • Is it logical to transport heavy furniture in a small car when we already have a truck at our disposal?

What is the difference between wanting and wishing?

Here are a few simple examples to help you understand the specificity of these two terms.

The fact that you have to get up every morning is a real effort for some. Nothing excites you anymore that you have to go to work. But you have no other choice. You do all this without pleasure and all with extraordinary effort of your will. And finally, after all, comes the holiday: that morning when you need to travel, you wake up, unlike the day before, without the slightest effort. Why? Because you do something of your own accord.

Another example. It’s already mid-July and you’re more than upset because you can’t get into your last year’s swimsuit. You decide to start a diet, to lose three to four pounds. A few days passed, a few grams melted. And then, somewhere on July 20, for example, some problems arise and – you throw yourself on a huge piece of cake. Everything is lost! Desperate for the weakness of your character, you abandon the diet.

However, just four days later you fall madly in love with a wonderful man; he has only one small drawback: he doesn’t like fat women. And on July 28, you determine that you have banished all the dishes you eat from your menu, without even becoming aware of it. You are more and more in love and you feel better and better. On August 15, you can easily enter your last year’s swimsuit.

What happened? Something very simple. You did not lose weight by calling for help the will; your desire has helped you achieve this, even without much effort and suffering.

America in the Conquest of the Subconscious

Americans inherited a pioneering spirit from their ancestors. Thus, they were the first to realize that the subconscious is the engine of social success. Thanks to long research, they were able to determine some kind of use of the subconscious.

Their way of using the subconscious is extremely simple. Therefore, learn to make your subconscious your good friend.

Celebrities, such as Rockefeller, Henry Ford, Carnegie, Vanderbilt, and later the Kennedys, used subconscious a lot, and it helped them a lot to succeed. Many other personalities can testify to this, famous artists for example, and especially those who decide on the politics and economy of this country. They all know that they owe their wealth and fame to this method.

It is quite reasonable if you first ask yourself how the subconscious allows us to approach it – since it is known that it avoids the control of our consciousness. So how does that armored vault open?

Subconscious mind and the power of autosuggestion

We know how to open the way to our own subconscious, how to tame it and make it an ally. That path of opening the Mental Image (or: visualization of our spirit, “awakened dreams”). These images suggest to our subconscious everything we want in life: health, happiness, money … The subconscious then makes sure to fulfill it. So few people know how to use visualization (mental images). Since they belong to the domain of the imaginary and since they have no influence on everyday life, there are people who think that they do not even exist. As for suggestions – they have never been seriously considered.

Many ridiculed Emile Cue and his famous method of autosuggestion treatment. They were wrong. He was one of the first to realize the power of visualization and the power of suggestions it evokes. In fact, by visualizing suggestions, we transmit them to our subconscious, and this can significantly affect our lives.

Think seriously about this, because that is exactly what all those who succeeded thanks to this method did first. Use it as often as possible: create your own films, project them in your head, watch your dreams come to life. Through them, your desires will reach your subconscious. And you will experience a happy surprise to see them come true. Woe to those who laugh at all this.

Subconscious mind is awake even when we are asleep

Still, I don’t tell you fairy tales to put you to sleep. If you still have doubts, here is a little story that will convince you.

In one study, published in a very serious medical journal, evidence was presented of how suggestion strongly affects our subconscious even when we are asleep on the operating table. Our subconscious, which watches day and night, is able to hear and register what is happening even when we are in a deep sleep.

What does this medical journal say? One great English surgeon performed a very interesting experiment. During the operation, he released a tape with suggestions about successful recovery to forty patients under anesthesia. At the same time, another thirty-eight patients were operated on, but in the usual way, without optimistic suggestions recorded on tape. The results left no room for doubt: patients in the first group were cured faster than those in the second.

subconscious mind power

Power of Subconscious Mind to Make Things Happen

Visualize the characters, put imaginary scenes in your head. In order for them to be realized, those images need to be projected in our subconscious. Naturally – there are moments that are most suitable for that: the time before falling asleep and the time after waking up. If the images are clear and precise, if we believe in them, they will reach their goal – our subconscious. After that, everything becomes possible.

Opportunity, then, is offered to us before every bedtime and every time we wake up. How can we impose our will on our own subconscious? It is a well-known physiological phenomenon. Our nervous system is autonomous, it is the center of the subconscious and obeys only feelings. Our mind, furthermore, does not distinguish between the experience actually experienced and the experience we have gained thanks to imagination. Why? Because in both cases we experience the same feelings. The fact that we strongly believe in something, that we imagine it very precisely, creates in us the same reactions as if it had been experienced. Thanks to this mechanism, imaginary desires can be turned into real ones.

Let’s illustrate this with the following example:

Psychologist Vandel experimented with a team of young archery champions. A few days before the competition, he asked them to split into two groups. The first practiced with a real arrow, the second imagined arrows. On the day of the competition, both groups achieved the same results – as if they all practiced in the same way.

Images That Kill

But watch out! This procedure also carries certain dangers. The choice of images for visualization is also very important. Images must not be negative!

As you choose a friend, you should choose your own thoughts. Nourished by positive thoughts, our subconscious helps us to be healthy, happy, to be accompanied by success. Overwhelmed with negative thoughts, it pushes us towards disease and failure. There are even cases where visualization can kill: in some countries, natives die in the worst suffering after inadvertently touching a “taboo” object – they become victims of their own negative mental images.

How To Activate Subconscious Mind

The path to your own subconscious mind opens in two ways:

– By visualization, by creating mental images
– By repeating key sentences.

Visualization must be accompanied by a very strong sense of reality. In order to bring success, one must create the impression that everything is real.

The repetition of key sentences, on the other hand, must not be mechanical, but with deep conviction, that is, with emotions. They can be uttered aloud, but also in themselves. They can also be written.

Here’s what it looks like:

Like all good strategists and organizers, choose carefully the goal you want to achieve. Whether you want to heal, lose weight or change your apartment – no improvisation is allowed.

Health Above All

Once you have set a goal, try to choose the one that seems most urgent to you. Start right with that goal. Don’t be afraid, others will be in line soon. One success leads to another.

A little tip: Start with health first. It is our most precious treasure. Everything else depends on it. Your dreams will come true much more successfully if you are in good health.

Subconscious Mind Power

You know the goal you want to achieve. You brought a plan. Now immediately attack your worst enemy: your inferiority complex. If you want to name your way of life, you have to, imitatively, change the negative image you have of yourself.

Stop underestimating yourself: each person is unique, but none is perfect. The person you want to look like certainly has many flaws that you don’t have. You, on the other hand, have qualities that other person will never possess.

And all the great men of this world knew of their weaknesses. But they accepted them. While, paradoxically, those who do not trust themselves, never accept their weaknesses, do not reconcile with them.

Do not imagine that there is human perfection. Perfect beings live only in bad novels. Accept, therefore, yourself, as you are: with all the qualities and flaws.

Expel from your spirit sentences like: “It serves no purpose, I will never succeed in it”, “I will never learn that subject”, “I am so ugly” … These sentences are very dangerous. Always keep in mind that negative thoughts will drag you from bad to even worse. Bad, negative mental images stimulate our subconscious to concretize the evil we suggest to it.

You are looking for qualities in yourself that surely exist, only you are not aware of them. Discover your true value. Notice the talent with which you do certain things, even the simplest ones.

Think all the time about the positive goals you want to achieve. Become a real factory of mental images and leave them to your subconscious.

One last tip when it comes to complexes: if necessary, get away from yourself, as quickly as possible, all those who are trying to be above you, to dominate, to “crumble” you. Avoid those in front of whom you feel inferior, quite small.

Surround yourself with people who will listen to you, appreciate you. A man feels much better when he knows he is loved. Then he regains confidence in himself, relaxes and his subconscious releases all those riches of his spirit that were blocked due to the hostile and cold environment.

Keep true friends, those who truly respect you and know how to show it. See them as often as possible. And avoid, of course, the other ones!
