It can be a long and painful journey for many women and men who want a child and have not fulfilled their dream. Some people have a diagnosed reason causing infertility and others are dealing with unexplained infertility. For some people age can be the issue and conceiving a child can be very difficult. Illness or other life circumstances can also be factors that result in not having a child. This program is designed to process the grief and accept the loss of not having what you imaged in your life.
The grief experienced is not dependent on the length of the journey. You may have found out months ago that having a child is not an option or you may have tried for over 10 years to fall pregnant. This does not mean your grief is any more or less severe than someone else. Your grief is yours and it is valid. Your desire to have a baby is significant and important. Your pain and hurt has meaning and it deserves to be attended to. Everyone is different and everyone processes pain differently. It is very difficult to find out you can’t ever fall pregnant. The reality is that there are many hopes and expectations associated with wanting a family and finding out that this is not possible for you can be extremely devastating. For some, it can be a very lengthy journey trying to fall pregnant without success. The longer the trying for a child continues the further hopes and expectations grow and develop. You can feel constant disappointment each month when there is no pregnancy and the pain can feel very overwhelming. Grief can be extremely deep regardless of whether you are a man or a woman. Not being able to have your child is a painful loss. You may be asking questions such as, “Why me? What is wrong?” You may feel cursed, unlucky or punished. This program has guided steps aimed to assist you in processing this pain.
Who is this program for?
This program is available for:
- anyone who is experiencing infertility and has found out they cannot have children.
- anyone who has tried to have a child without success and has decided to stop trying for a baby.
- anyone who will not experience having a child and does not have any children already.
- anyone who has decided to adopt a child and is grieving the loss of not having a biological child.
This program is not suitable if you are still trying for a baby. If you have experienced a miscarriage or multiple miscarriages and you are still trying for a baby then you can use the program MISCARRIAGE. Also, if you have had previous children and not able to have that one more child you wanted then the most suitable program is NOT HAVING ANOTHER CHILD (this program will be available soon).
You will learn about what grief is, the different stages of grief and the common symptoms people display when faced with grief. It is very reassuring to understand what is happening to you and the grieving process.
PART 2 – LEARNING TO RELEASE PAINFUL EMOTIONS SAFELY
You will learn strategies to manage emotional distress and grounding steps to bring yourself emotionally back into a safe place.
PART 3 – DESCRIBING WHAT HAS HAPPENED
This part is made up of a series of in-depth questions which allow you to process your life journey that has resulted in not having a child and your emotions around it. These questions will guide you to know exactly why you feel a certain way and this allows for you to process the events leading up to now.
PART 4 – MY DESIRE FOR A CHILD
This part will get you to answer a number of questions relating to your desire for a child. This process will lead to more clarity and understanding of the relationship you desired with your child.
PART 5 – EXPRESSING FEELINGS
It is important to be able to express how you are feeling. Anger, sadness and guilt are some key feelings that you will be able to express here.
PART 6 – RESOLVING YOUR INNER CONFLICT
It is very powerful to express what you are still holding onto and to resolve the inner conflict. This part guides you to express your pain and release any emotions.
PART 7 – THE LETTING GO PROCESS
This section focuses on letting go methods in order to explore the next chapters of your life.
PART 8 – GOAL SETTING
Setting new goals for your life is a powerful start to your future and it prevents being stuck or feeling hopeless and helpless. This can prevent feelings of depression as it guides you to new goals you will design for the next steps of your life.

This program is self-paced. You have one year to complete the program from purchase date. You have the option to request an extension if required.
